Installing Your Backyard Putting Green

The turf is trimmed to fit cleanly around cups and edges. Seams between turf strips are joined and turf fibers are brushed to stand upright. Then the turf is secured and a dusting of infill is applied to weigh it down. 

To Prepare:

Continue keeping the work area clear 

Refrain from walking on the freshly installed turf right away

Expect the turf to look a bit flat initially before fibers rebound

Finishing Touches 

To complete your green, we’ll tidy up the perimeter by installing your chosen fringe or border elements like bender board, pavers, rock, mulch, etc. 

Surrounding landscaping that was impacted will be restored with new plants or sod. The green will receive a final dressing, rolling and brushing to get it perfectly playable.

Have final design decisions made to avoid delays

Be available for a final walkthrough and review

Wait until we give the okay before playing on your putting green

Maintenance and Follow-up Support

Of course, our involvement doesn’t stop once we pack up our tools. We’ll educate you on simple practices to keep your green well-groomed and performing its best.
